At the June meeting of St Andrews Community Trust, the Trustees approved awards of £29,967 bringing the total awards for the year to date to £51,467.

Awards were made to 10 different organisations and the trustees were delighted to support local community projects for Dance St Andrews, Friends of Craigtoun, Greyfriars Primary School, Holy Trinity Action group, Nature’s Little Wonders, St Andrews Colts FC, St Andrews Environmental Network, Strathkinness Community Trust, Transition University St Andrews and to  provide funding towards a commemorative bench for Jessie L Moir, the first and only lady Provost of St Andrews.

In addition, the Trustees approved a change in project scope for St Andrews Sailing Club.
